Crown Royal - “If You Want Me To Stay”

When COVID hit and music venues across the country were at risk of disappearing, we teamed up with Crown Royal to do something meaningful. The idea? Take a soul classic—Sly & The Family Stone’s “If You Want Me to Stay”—and reimagine it as a rallying cry to save the very stages that shaped live music culture. We brought in Ari Lennox and Anthony Ramos, two artists who came up through those same venues, and built a simple mechanic: every stream of the track unlocked a $1 donation to support them.

Directed by Karena Evans, the music video served as a heartfelt tribute to endangered venues in Baltimore, Detroit, and Nashville. Featuring real musicians and on-location shoots, it not only honored these spaces but called audiences to action, urging donations to protect cultural landmarks.

With over 4 million streams and 1.4 billion impressions, the campaign became a cultural and philanthropic force. Most notably, it raised $1.5 million for at-risk venues, with artists and labels matching donations—turning a classic song into a lifeline for live music.
